Mike Mahoney joined Communication & Management Services as a consultant in September 2023. He brings 40+ years of experience in administration, program management, program design and development. He has extensive experience with staff management and personnel issues, developing and administering budgets at the state and non-profit levels. With his experience testifying before Legislative Committees, working with the media and as a guest lecturer at the University of Montana, Mike is considered a subject matter expert regarding operational issues in the Montana State Prison System and non-profit treatment programs for developmentally delayed children and adults. In addition, Mike has extensive experience with negotiating Union contracts with the majority of the collective bargaining units within the state of Montana. Mike has testified as an expert witness for numerous court cases in litigation regarding operations within the state prison system.

Mike will bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward any project that he becomes involved with. He is a proud Butte native, married to his high school sweetheart with three adult children, an amazing daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.
